I am open to talking through trades, collaborations, and alternative forms of compensation ✨

I am a classical singer, pianist, and multi-disciplinary performing artist. I teach singing, piano, musicianship, and music theory to students of all ages and levels. My teaching philosophy emphasizes non-judgement and joy. I work with my students to build a strong, versatile technical foundation, informed by my training in bodywork and somatics. I love figuring out the details! And working out an easeful, expressive technique, tailored to every students’ needs.

I am primarily a classical musician, and this is the base of my approach, but I also perform in other styles, and enjoy working with students on a wide array of music, including pop, jazz, and musical theater. I love seeing my students’ love of music change and expand as they study. I enjoy helping them find the technical and artistic tools they need to express themselves fully, with ease and a sense of fun. I am also committed to accessible music education, and want to work with everyone to find a way to take music lessons they can afford. If my rates are out of reach for you, please get in touch!

Let’s try to find an arrangement that will work sustainably. I hold degrees in Music and Music History from Harvard University and U.C. Berkeley, and am active as a freelance singer and pianist in the Bay Area.
